Peiner has made and sold over 75,000 models for the global market. Peiner's unique grabs can deal with a huge range of products and materials such as cement, iron ores, coke, fertilizers, refuse and scrap. SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for more than 12 years in the United States market place. Different industries like for instance Scrap Handling, Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, and numerous other material handling facilities like Bulk Transfer Facilities now depending on our grabs and buckets to do their jobs.

The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around providing grabs which deal with the largest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The typical handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is around 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means moving greater quantities of materials quicker. The wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related components is less. By combining high quality materials and innovative design with manufacturing, the desirable weight ratio is attained.

Grab sizes will vary from 1 cubic yard or less to more than 50 cubic yards in order to meet the requirements of the client.
