Specifications of Clark Forklifts
Types
Cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks are only amongst the different kinds of forklift trucks manufactured by Clark. The various models vary in terms of the way they run. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts used for construction and agriculture run on an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed for use inside warehouses and other confined spaces operate on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
According to the kind of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity can differ. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, that depends on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC models are recommended. They could carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are used to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustible engine kinds have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion types have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame includes the fuel tank, engine, trans-axle, wheels and transmission.
