Narrow Aisle Forklift
Made to both lower and lift loaded pallets from storage spaces that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This particular type is recommended for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, such as warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has small, solid rubber tires that make maneuvering really easy.
Generally, the operator of this specific type of forklift stands up inside a small cockpit. The stand-up design enables the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: two in the front, and one in the rear. This design enables for easy and fast maneuvering. There are some models of these forklifts which come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment can pivot to the sides, allowing the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the entire machine. The sit-down version usually has four wheels.
An electric engine is used to power many narrow aisle forklifts. Machines that are electrically powered do not produce exhaust fumes and are not noisy, making them the suitable alternative for closed places such as retail spaces. Several lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. Nonetheless, the diesel model is not recommended to be utilized indoors since it could produce exhaust and be noisy.
