Hyundai LP Forklifts

Hyundai LPG Forklift Trucks
Offering advanced fuel induction technology that reduces harmful emissions and greatly saves on fuel consumption is the Hyundai LPG forklift series. With lower pollution and emission levels, forklifts which utilize LPG are much safer in general for all your employees and for the natural environment.

The following are some benefits and features of the Hyundai LPG Forklift:
Some of the features and benefits of the LPG series comprise water resistant monitor panel and operator friendly gauges, full hydrostatic power steering that prevents kickback and overrun, quiet operation under heavy load conditions provided by highly durable power shift transmission, wet disc brake system which lasts five times longer compared to conventional braking systems and improves brake performance. Furthermore, operator safety is increased and operator fatigue is lessened by a full floating head-guard mount.

Change an LPG Cylinder
Forklifts are powered by a variety of sources. They could run from liquid propane or LP gas, gasoline, diesel or battery. LP is a clean burning fuel preferred for many applications. There are various facilities which have large liquid propane supplies on site. This allows forklifts to be refueled whenever they require. In other places, the facility will have spare LP cylinders that are able to be changed out when the equipment should be refueled.

When changing out an LP cylinder, you should really be careful in order to prevent possible serious injuries. For example: be sure to wear the appropriate safety equipment like goggles or safety glasses and heavy gloves. Make certain that you turned off the forklift ignition before changing out the tank. Next, close the cylinder valve by turning it until it is closed firmly. Use your hand to loosen the hose connection to the tank. Remember that it would turn in the opposite direction of a standard connection and never utilize any type of wrench or a metal tool on these connections. They are meant to be tightened just by using the hand.
